We scan The Exchange at a regular interval and assign the code on each mirror a fingerprint. The date listed, is the date of the last code change. This fingerprint is assigned a version number and is matched to our isolated development environment.

If the fingerprint matches our isolated development environment, the fingerprint will state "VERIFIED".

If for some reason the code on The Exchange does not match a verified fingerprint, this text would state "NOT VERIFIED BY SITE ADMINS" and be red in color. This would mean that there is unintended or malicious code running on the platform. If you see this we would recommend not using the site until the message returns to verified.
